Kino #26 @ Vibe Live :: + Kino Challenge is launched!

Kino #25, aka Borderlands at the London Short Film Festival was a blast. Not only did our filmmakers venture out to the far edges of the city to make their films, but we all journeyed out to Barking to watch them on their home turf. There are some great snaps of the night here (big thanks to Laurie for those).

And so, after our first-time foray into the depths of East London, Kino London returns to Vibe Live for our 26th edition on Thursday 24th February.

Expect the usual shenanigans: popcorn by the truckload and plenty of short films for your delectation.

Kino Challenge :: Launching tonight

Also being announced tonight is the launch of our new, monthly initiative: the Kino Challenge. Each month we’ll be bringing people together who want to make a short, giving them the film idea (or rather you, the punters, will be giving them the idea) and then we’ll be getting all excited about seeing the result at Kino the following month. We have equipment rental deals for those who need, so there’s no reason for you not to be shooting on good quality kit. More details here, or follow the Challenge link on the sidebar to the right (or just come down to Vibe tonight!).
